Senior Accountant

Creative Homes is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our high energy, rapidly growing team!

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Allocate Credit Card Payments Create and Distribute Weekly Reports
  • Book Final Closings (End Home and Lot / Loan)
  • Review P&L Monthly and Month End Reports
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Monthly Commission Statement
  • Preparation for Sales Team
  • Month End Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Work with Vendors getting paid by Credit Card
  • Accounts Payable back-up
  • Assist with Closings (i.e. collection of lien waivers, closing statement preparation)
  • Other Projects as Assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Job requires excellent verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through. Must have the attitude and ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and be able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with an energetic, professional, and positive demeanor.

Education and/or Experience:

  • BA/BS in Accounting preferred
  • Strong Accounting and Financial Acumen
  • Excel proficiency
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to lead and participate in meetings
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to interact with and support other team members
  • Construction Experience preferred
