Creative Homes is currently seeking a Customer Care Specialist who is motivated, organized, a self-starter with good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with people.
Manage the Customer Care process to ensure the Creative Homes Experience. Manage, track and complete warranty service repairs for homeowners. Schedule and perform Warranty Walkthroughs at 60 days and 11 months.
Manage the customer care process using Builder Trend and the Warranty Tracking Reports.
Update Builder Trend after each Warranty Walkthrough.
Fix and eliminate deficiency items after Warranty Walkthroughs.
Ensure complete cleanup of home, inside and outside, during and after performing repairs.
Develop a constructive and helpful working relationship with each homeowner.
Schedule and complete 60-day and 11-month Warranty Walkthrough with homeowners and work order follow up.
Attend Welcome Home Orientation with the Neighborhood Builder and homeowner.
Represent Creative Homes so that the customer has complete confidence in your ability and the team’s ability to provide an incredible customer experience.
Educate the customer on quality and process at every opportunity.
Educate the customer on our team approach at every opportunity.
No formal education required, however, ability to perform basic arithmetic, for example, in taking measurements is essential.
Prior experience in Customer Service.
Several years of experience in residential/commercial construction or renovations or repairs.
Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trade functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting.
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to proofread and edit, and can complete projects in a timely manner.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Must have the attitude and ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and be able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with a professional, positive demeanor.
Must have ability to read and write in the English language at a basic level (Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).

Daily interaction with various Creative Homes personnel, field associates, trade partners, consultants and homeowners. Regular contact with the general public. Frequent external contacts where matters discussed require resourcefulness, patience, clarity and tact.
This is primarily an active position, which requires the ability to be outdoors in the heat and cold. The ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climbs stairs, climb ladders, walk on uneven surfaces, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds, occasionally operate construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. Requires the ability to work eight (8) hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer.
