Our Response to COVID-19
In light of the intense coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Creative Homes want to remind you that our main concern is the well-being of our Creative Homes family and the communities and customers we serve. At this time, we want to assure you that we continue to be dedicated to building your new home. Below are several of the modifications that we have made to comply with today's "Stay at Home" environment.Sales Offices & Models
Our models are now open "By Appointment Only" for both private, in-person appointments and virtual appointments. Our sales team is still actively working on maintaining contact with our current customers as well as focusing on generating new leads and customers. Still open for business, just modified. In addition, we have developed a virtual process to allow our team to effectively work with prospects and customers who are not comfortable doing face to face meetings.
We have significantly reduced our corporate office staff to only the critical roles that must come into the office in order to fulfill their job responsibilities. All other employees are working remotely from home. In order to do this, we have provided each employee with the necessary equipment and we are utilizing virtual meeting software to conduct regularly scheduled meetings.
Both the State of Minnesota and the State of Wisconsin have issued Stay at Home/Shelter in Place orders. In both Orders, residential construction and related trades are considered an essential service. As a result, we are business as usual. Our teams are having daily calls with our trades and suppliers to ensure the availability of labor and materials. We are also performing home walkthroughs virtually as pictured. At this time, while we may have some minor issues, we do not anticipate any major disruptions from our ability to build homes in a timely manner.
At this time, we are postponing all non-critical warranty services, to include our 60-Day and 11-Month Walk processes. Please rest assured that as soon as we are able to start scheduling these services, we will let you know. We are actively assessing the size and structure of our warranty team as it compares to the volume of warranty requests as they grow. We commit to making necessary modifications to address your items and/or perform your walks as expeditious as possible.
While performing all functions of our business, Creative Homes continues to follow all CDC guidelines as it relates to cleaning and sanitizing models and offices as well as practicing appropriate social distancing. We encourage you to do your part to flatten the curve and, most importantly, stay healthy!
