Chief Financial Officer
Originally from South Carolina, Robby Mosier has been with Creative Homes since May 2017. Prior to joining the team at Creative Homes, he served in multiple leadership roles with public, large private, and small local homebuilders in multiple markets throughout the sunbelt states. Graduating from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, in 1992 with a degree in Business Administration with Accounting Concentration, Robby continued his education at the University of South Carolina where he received his Masters’ in Accountancy. Upon graduation, Robby started his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen in Columbia, South Carolina. In 2001, he left public accounting and moved to Atlanta where he became the Senior Internal Auditor for Morrison Homes (now Taylor Morrison). After 8 months in the role he was promoted to the VP of Finance of the Colorado Division and relocated to Denver, Colorado. Since his initial entry into homebuilding, Robby has worked with Standard Pacific (now CalAtlantic Homes), Ashton Woods Homes and Beazer Homes in roles ranging from Division VP of Finance, Regional CFO (covering all markets from Texas to California) to Division President. As the Regional CFO for Beazer Homes, Robby was responsible for overseeing over $1 Billion in land assets, including three of the hardest hit areas during the last downturn; Phoenix, Las Vegas and California. Serving in this role between 2009 and 2011, he was instrumental in restructuring several of the assets to allow for them to continue to perform, including re-design of product and/or development. After being promoted and relocated to the Charleston market as the Division President, he successfully re-platted one asset, bringing in an entirely new product line, and re-structured another land asset by working with a neighboring land owner. These moves resulted in the Company reducing its potential impairment on these assets from a total of $8 million to only $1.5 million, during a non-improving market period. Immediately preceding his joining Creative Homes, Robby was the COO/CFO for a locally-owned business in the Dallas-Fort Worth market overseeing several real estate related entities, including title, brokerage, and a rental portfolio. Starting out as the President of the Homebuilding business, he grew the Company from approximately $50 million in revenue to over $150 million in just under 3 years. Married to his wife, Meredith, he is the proud stepfather of two young boys, Jackson and Joah.
