Our Design Studio Specialists are ready to guide you through every step of the way as you put your personal touch on every aspect of your home.
It is important to note that our selections meetings last anywhere from four to six hours. Additionally, we can schedule a follow-up meeting to ensure that you are confident in your decisions as we understand designing your home takes time. Follow-up appointments typically only last 1-2 hours and are a great opportunity to reaffirm your decisions or to make any adjustments prior to sign off.
Visit available homes - In the weeks leading up to your selections meeting, we encourage you to walk through our models and quick move-in homes to get a better idea of the colors and options you hope to see in your new home as you can see what everything looks like next to each other to get an overall feel for the direction you want to go in your own home.
Browse the internet - Take a look at our Facebook, Instagram, and Houzz pages. These can all be a great resource to get additional ideas of what we have done in past models. We can replicate any detail you find in our images. Feel free to bring any resources you find online to your appointment to help your designer get a feel for for the direction you want to take in your new home.
Prioritize - Some homeowners find it helpful to make a list of the spaces in your home you want to pay specific attention to. This allows you to stay true to your decisions and your budget throughout the meeting as you can splurge in some areas and save in others.
Review - Looking over the community specific features of your new community will help you gather information of what is already included in the base price of your home. Based on these features, you can make notes of what you want to upgrade and what you want to keep as is. Contact your New Home Specialist to find this information. You might also want to consult the "Selections and Pre-construction Process" section of your homeowner manual. This will help you gain a better understanding of what to expect in the appointment at large.
